The Royse City JV football team took on the neighboring Rockwall Yellowjackets and were defeated by a score of 21-36.  The steadily improving offense moved the ball well but still was plagued with turnovers.  The first offensive score was on a 27 yard pass from Michael Webb to Carlos Velasquez.  Velasquez connected on the extra point.  The second TD came on a quick pass from Webb to Jared Tumbleson who then scampered 50 yards to the endzone.  Velasquez again connected on the extra point.  And the final RC score came on a 46 yard run by Webb.  Velasquez made his third extra point of the game.  On defense the bulldogs pounded Rockwall and caused 3 turnovers.  Linebacker Adrian Gonzalez caused the first fumble which was recovered by safety Clint Sherman.  Later, cornerback Carlos Velasquez intercepted a pass and returned it 10 yds.  And linebacker Oscar Ramirez finished the night with a great play where he sacked the quarterback causing a fumble and recovered the ball.  The bulldogs will continue their season next week against Frisco Liberty.
